On August 13, the HKTDC Food Expo 2026, together with the concurrent Food Expo PRO and Hong Kong International Tea Fair, opened at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Hunan delegation organized by Hunan Jiayexing International Exhibition Co., Ltd. made its appearance in a dual-pavilion layout covering the Food Trade Pavilion and the Tea Pavilion, showcasing Hunan specialty foods and premium teas to buyers from Hong Kong and around the world.

In the Food Trade Pavilion, companies including Jinmofang, Xincongchu, Huxiangyao and Xingcheng Mingyue displayed spicy snacks, Hunan-style prepared dishes, paper-wrapped cured meat and blueberry deep-processed products; in the Tea Pavilion, 17 tea enterprises including Yiyang Tea Factory, Anhua Wuyunjie, Jinfenghou and Xiangxi Tea Group presented premium Hunan teas such as Xiangyi Fu Tea, Anhua dark tea and Jietan Tea.

As Hunan's largest source of foreign investment and a key node in its international trade channels, Hong Kong is an important gateway for Hunan products going global. This dual-pavilion participation leverages the HKTDC Food Expo platform to promote Hunan products into Hong Kong and expand into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and international markets.
