On August 14, 2025, the Hong Kong Food Expo opened at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with 67 companies from Hunan and Hubei participating under the organization of JYX EXPO. The event served as a strategic platform for expanding international presence.

The delegation showcased a wide range of products—tea, grains and oils, prepared foods, condiments, and fresh produce—highlighting the geographical indication products and regional specialties from both provinces. Exhibitors actively engaged with global buyers and secured multiple cooperation intentions.

The expo also featured promotional events by the Hunan and Suizhou delegations, boosting brand visibility and reinforcing efforts to promote “Xiang Products Going Global”. This initiative marks another step forward in opening international food trade channels for Central China’s agri-food industry.
